Regulation on Capital Adequacy

This document provides the regulation of Albania on capital adequacy. It is intended to establish proportion between Capital Adequacy Ratio and Minimum Capital Adequacy Ratio. The document provides the method of calculation of both the ratios and directs that banks should report the ratios to the Supervisory Department in the Bank of Albania, on a quarterly basis, together with the balance sheet of the respective period.
 

Finally, the document provides various forms to be used by the banks to report the following:

• Weighted asset items;
• Total weighted assets;
• Off balance-sheet items representing contracts for financial instruments;
• Total risk-weighted assets and off balance-sheet items and other off balance-sheet items;
• Capital adequacy ratio.
