This resource is part of AgriFin’s collection of loan product tools that help financial institutions tailor their loan products to the needs of agricultural clients. This “how to” manual, published in 1961 by the American Bankers Association, is designed for bankers interested in extending credit to farmers and ranchers investing in irrigation systems. The basic principles of direct and indirect financing (i.e., through equipment dealers) of irrigation systems that the manual explores still apply today, and the highly detailed document retains a significant degree of relevance.
