Looking ahead to the 2016 MFC Annual Conference this June, the Microfinance Centre (MFC) would like to give you the opportunity to shape the agenda around your own needs and interests. They would like to hear from you:
What are the critical issues your institution is currently facing?
What challenges does your national sector face?
What, in your view, is the single most important hurdle the global sector needs to overcome in the next year?
Beyond this – what are the “bright spots” in terms of your current practice?
What unique (and perhaps unsung) solutions have you created to tackle these bigger challenges?
Based on your inputs, MFC will choose the topics for the conference workshops and plenary sessions. Also, please let them know if you would be interested in presenting your experience as a workshop panelist. Each year, MFC does its to accommodate the large number of speaker nominations received, in order to bring you a variety of perspectives and experiences. Please send your suggestions to [email protected] by 5 February 2016.
Un-conference Sessions: As last year, in addition to the traditional workshops and plenaries, they will use this simple, effective and flexible format for hosting group dialogue. If you’d like to convene a small, informal un-conference session to tap into the insights of your peers on a particular topic, challenge or need – please let MFC know. Tell them three things: what topic you’d like to discuss, what you’re hoping to contribute, and what you’re hoping to gain. They will do their best to accommodate the large number of requests. Please send your suggestions to [email protected] by 5 February 2016.
Last but not least…. are you interested in becoming a conference sponsor? Please contact Alena Fullsackova to discuss which of the sponsorship packages is right for you. We look forward to seeing you in Tirana for MFC 2016!
