Cracking the Nut 2015 is searching to identify the latest approaches to prepare for climate change impacts on agricultural production, rural development, and access to finance in developing countries. It is inviting people who have insightful experience related to developing climate-smart rural and agricultural markets to submit a proposal. The applicants' approach could be showcased to more than 300 leaders of climate-smart agricultural markets, including top buyers, retailers, investors, financiers, donors, and development practitioners, at Cracking the Nut 2015 and in the resulting publication.
All speakers will be competitively selected to share best practices related to one of the following three tracks:
Strengthening rural and agricultural infrastructure;
Expanding financial services to rural areas;
Improving agricultural production.
