Congratulation Govinda sir and entire Muktinath team for winning the award. You have really identified value and potentials of savings by microfinance clients. I have got chance to learn practically while designing a new savings product for Unique Nepal MFI in Nepal that MF clients have a large untapped savings capacity. But, this potentials is not well identified by MFIs and even by Regulator. Discouraging in longer term savings by regulation has limited the popular savings products like Pension savings and also on mid-term savings products. I feel lack of real practice of savings product diversification based on market research in Nepal.
