Very good blog from Dvara colleagues. We can celebrate some of the progress made in terms of digitalization of payments but a lot of work remains to include rural women into formal finance. Interestingly of the 35 percent of adults who have an account and don’t use it - half of them don’t use formal financial services due to their lack of trust. We need to build much more responsible financial ecosystems if we want all adults to use financial services in a way that meet their expectations, needs and purpose!
