What is included in this collection?

This is a collection of digital financial services (DFS) report templates that are used by supervisory authorities in a variety of countries. The collection is a supplement to CGAP’s Working Paper “Data Collection by Supervisors of Digital Financial Services” (2017).

Who can use these tools and templates?

These tools can be used by e-money issuers and their agents, bank agents, retail payments statisticians, and others. Some of the documents that DFS supervisors may find useful include an example of data dictionary and taxonomy, a presentation about the data collection system of the Austrian central bank, an example of data strategy, and several examples of reporting guidance.
