Self-Paced Online Training Module on "Gender Equality and Migration"

UN Women requires an experienced consultant who will be responsible of developing an eLearning module and accompanying guidance note on "Gender Equality and Migration," ensuring alignment with gender-responsive and inclusive reporting practices. This includes stakeholder consultations, content creation, pilot testing, collaboration with designers for online implementation, and the development of assessment tools and progress reports to ensure the module meets its intended learning outcomes.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Develop a self-paced eLearning module and accompanying guidance note on "Gender Equality and Migration" in collaboration with IOM and UN Women teams. This includes creating materials that reflect the outlined learning objectives, ensuring gender-responsive, inclusive, and human rights-based content.
  • Stakeholder Consultation: Conduct consultations with selected media professionals to identify gaps in the current practice and refine the course's learning outcomes based on the needs of the target audience.
  • Module Structuring: Organize the course into well-defined modules and topics. Each topic must include interactive elements such as quizzes, case studies, and exercises to ensure participant engagement and comprehension.
