Underwriter
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Underwriting:
- Underwrite small business loans (loan size $500-$500,000). Drafting 4-12 page credit memos with detailed credit analysis + loan recommendation.
- Technical Assistance:
- Potentially helping small business owners with technical assistance such as business plans, financial forecasts, sales strategy etc.
- Consulting:
- Provide consulting services to our lending clients. This may include training and other special projects.
- Mortgage underwriting/processing:
- Overwrite may venture into the mortgage industry in 2024. Although the company is still laying the groundwork for this service, there’s potential to process and underwrite mortgage transactions in the near future.
