Al Majmoua (Lebanon), FATEN (OPT), and RUFI (Uganda) Announced as Finalists for EMA2024 on "Advancing Financial Inclusion for Refugees & FDPs"
Congratulations to Al Majmoua from Lebanon, Palestine For Credit & Development - FATEN from the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and Rural Finance Initiative (RUFI) from Uganda which have been chosen by the Selection Committee as the three finalists for the European Microfinance Award 2024 on ‘‘Advancing Financial Inclusion for Refugees & Forcibly Displaced People".
They will go on to compete for the €100,000 prize. These three organizations demonstrate what financial inclusion organizations can do to support refugees and FDPs - help them build resilience, restore livelihoods, and live with dignity in host communities.
The winner will be chosen and announced on 14 November during European Microfinance Week (EMW) in Luxembourg.
