Be part of the Cerise+SPTF 2026 Global Meeting - Register Today!

Cerise+SPTF is delighted to announce that registration is still open for the 2026 Global Meeting, the organization's flagship annual gathering, taking place 28 September - 1 October 2026, in Cairo, Egypt.

As the largest in-person event hosted by Cerise+SPTF, the Global Meeting brings together hundreds of professionals from across the financial inclusion ecosystem, including financial service providers, investors, regulators, policymakers, donors, fintech innovators, researchers, and development partners to collaborate on advancing responsible, inclusive finance.

This year's meeting, co-hosted by the Egyptian Federation for Financing Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises, is centered on the theme "Finance to Empower & Protect," reflecting the heart of Cerise+SPTF's new 10-year strategy: building financial systems that not only expand access but also protect customers, strengthen resilience, and create lasting positive outcomes.

Unlike traditional conferences, the Cerise+SPTF Global Meeting is designed as a highly interactive, working event. Participants are encouraged to engage actively through technical discussions, collaborative workshops, peer learning, and open dialogue to develop practical solutions that can be implemented across the financial sector. For more than two decades, the Global Meeting has served as a trusted platform where the financial inclusion community comes together to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and build partnerships that improve the quality and impact of financial services worldwide.

The 2026 program will explore some of the sector's most pressing priorities through three interconnected thematic tracks:

  • Do No Harm: Protecting Customers: advancing client protection standards, responsible pricing, effective governance, and market-level collaboration.
  • Empower Customers: strengthening customer voice, choice, and control through financial capability, proactive engagement, and better use of customer insights.
  • Support Customer Resilience: promoting savings, insurance, environmental strategies, and other approaches that help individuals and communities adapt to economic and climate-related challenges.
