Call for Papers - Women in Leadership: Accelerating Development Outcomes
The Women in Leadership: Accelerating Development Outcomes conference invites submissions of research on women’s leadership and its impact on development outcomes. Causal evidence on policies and interventions that advance women’s leadership, as well as research examining the effects of women’s leadership on governance, economic performance, service delivery, and organizational outcomes. Submissions with a strong emphasis on developing country contexts and early career scholars are particularly encouraged.
Thematic Areas
LSE invites submissions of research on women’s leadership, with particular emphasis on causal evidence of policies and interventions that expand women’s preparation for and participation in leadership roles. Priority will be given to studies assessing women’s leadership impact on development outcomes, including but not limited to governance, economic performance, service delivery, and organizational outcomes in both the public and private sectors.
Submissions should relate to one of the following three thematic areas, which will guide the structure of the conference:
- Women's leadership and governance outcomes.
- Policies and interventions that expand women’s leadership.
- The impact of women’s leadership on economic and organizational performance.
