Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation Shares Lessons Learned From Four Years Supporting Inclusive insurance

Between 2021 and 2025, a program supported by Proparco and implemented by the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation in partnership with the International Labour Organization supported 12 microfinance institutions across eight countries in Africa and Asia in developing inclusive insurance solutions for vulnerable populations. 

After four years of implementation, the program highlights in this newsletter key lessons for strengthening resilience to growing climate and economic risks, including institutional commitment, long-term investment, digitalization and stronger collaboration between financial and technical stakeholders.
