Help Take the Pulse of Financial Inclusion in a Changing Landscape: Financial Inclusion Compass Survey 2026

e-MFP invites you to take part in the Financial Inclusion Compass 2026 survey of sector trends and priorities. Since its launch in 2018, the Compass has become a widely used way of taking the pulse of the sector, bringing together the perspectives of different stakeholders on what matters most in financial inclusion.

It has now been two years since the last survey. In that time, the context has shifted significantly—both globally and within the sector. This year’s edition reflects that.
The 2026 survey introduces a more focused structure:

  • identifying the most important current trends
  • selecting the most pressing challenges
  • assessing the role of AI in financial inclusion
  • considering how the funding landscape is evolving
  • identifying the top future priority for the sector

The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete (longer if you choose to add comments). The survey is available in EnglishFrench and Spanish, and responses can be attributed or anonymous.

The results will be published this summer in a new format, designed to make insights more accessible and useful to stakeholders across the sector.

e-MFP relies on participation from across the financial inclusion ecosystem, and would greatly value your input. Please also feel free to share the survey with colleagues and contacts who can contribute relevant perspectives.

The survey will close at midday on 18 May.
