HIEx to Launch Climate and Health Investment Platform With Symbiotics

The Health Innovation Exchange (HIEx) has signed a partnership with Symbiotics to launch a pioneering impact investing platform at the intersection of climate change and public health. The platform will include an open-ended investment fund with a target capacity of up to USD 500 million over the next ten years, complemented by a dedicated Technical Assistance (TA) facility providing catalytic grant support equivalent to 5 percent of the fund’s capital. Designed to help de-risk investments and foster a strong ecosystem, the TA facility will support portfolio companies, incubate new models, and connect entrepreneurs, corporations, investors, and public sector actors.

This joint initiative aims to accelerate the growth of both early-stage innovations and proven models that address climate-related health challenges, particularly in the most vulnerable regions.
