USAID, Visa Bangladesh to Drive Financial Inclusion, Payment Digitization

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Visa have announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Bangladesh, signaling the start of a partnership that promotes financial inclusion, payment digitization, and the transition towards a smart nation. With this joint effort, USAID and Visa Bangladesh are set to collaborate on a range of initiatives.
These initiatives include leveraging Visa’s products and services in select USAID livestock and agriculture programs, facilitating access to finance for farmers and small, and medium businesses, and developing innovative financial literacy programs that cover practical business skills and money management strategies for enterprises.
