SDG Digital Ecosystem Assessment - Jordan 2025

This publication presents the 2025 SDG Digital Finance Ecosystem assessment for Jordan, analyzing how digital finance contributes to financial inclusion, inclusive growth and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Using a structured framework covering policy and regulation, infrastructure, innovation, skills, ecosystem maturity, inclusiveness and SDG alignment, the assessment combines more than 100 indicators with stakeholder interviews and focus groups.

For financial inclusion and microfinance practitioners, the report highlights practical bottlenecks and opportunities. The recommendations focus on three priorities - strengthening payment rails and open finance, creating daily-use value propositions that go beyond transfers, and building trust and capabilities with women at the center.
