As countries work to scale sustainable investment and support the transition to a net-zero economy, taxonomies provide a common framework for identifying green, transition, and emissions-abatement activities. By creating clear, science-based definitions and safeguards, a taxonomy can improve transparency, reduce greenwashing, and help direct capital toward climate solutions.
