This report describes PICAP’s approach towards achieving and mainstreaming gender equality and social inclusion to ensure that women and the most vulnerable are fully represented in climate disaster risk financing products (e.g., parametric insurance).

This research, focusing on 328 women entrepreneurs in Samoa, Cambodia and Fiji, explores the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in accessing and using financing at different stages of their enterprise journey.

This Framework provides data collection guidance for MSME and gender inclusive finance, defines an extended set of MSME finance indicators, and shares best practices to advance financial inclusion for MSMEs.
