AFI Global Policy Forum 2020

The AFI GPF is the highlight of the financial inclusion calendar, offering the most important and comprehensive forum for AFI’s vibrant and growing global network of 100 member institutions, international donors and expert knowledge partners. The annual flagship event - a keystone for its membership - sees regulatory institutions and other key stakeholders share the experiences, knowledge and initiatives that have made an impact in bringing financial services to the world’s 1.7 billion unbanked.

Ensuring true global representation, the AFI GPF is co-hosted every year by a different member institution in a different region of the world. Since the first AFI GPF in 2009, the event has supported an environment for historic financial inclusion policy initiatives and declarations, mostly recently with the Kigali Statement, a collective commitment by members to accelerate the achievement of their financial inclusion targets and leave no one behind.

In 2020, the AFI GPF will be brought to the Arab Region at the invitation of co-host Central Bank of Jordan
