About the Job:
The chief of business division is responsible of developing and implementing segment strategy, products, services & channels strategy, marketing, and branding in order to attract new clients and retain customers, hence serving Amret mission. He is also in charge of business processes, as well as data quality and analytics. He is at the forefront of digital evolution and strategic partnerships.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the commercial departments in developing and updating the strategies of products and services, based on market needs and competitors position while maintaining good profitability.
Develop positioning and value proposition per segment as well as proof points, and make sure the understanding on how to identify and serve them with adequate packages and approaches is ensured throughout the organization and especially among sales teams.
Monitor product and segment performance, as well as Client retention and satisfaction metrics, and propose remediation when needed, involving other divisions.
Ensure market intelligence and provide feedback to executive committee regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
Originate new products in concert with customer needs and business model. Oversee product development and improvement projects and contribute to positive adoption by both the network and the Clients.
Identify and selects relevant technologies and innovations both on client channel side in order to improve inclusion, and internal business process side to enhance efficiency and experience.
Ensure efficiency and homogeneity of business processes, as well as data quality, capture tools and mining capability for enhanced operations, credit decision and marketing.
Oversee and engage new business partnership with financial and insurance institutions, technology companies or other commercial stakeholders to explore new business opportunity and provide more value to the clients.
Ensure articulation of Amret desired Brand image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization both with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the Marketing department in delivering appropriate communication services in line with business strategy and using digital marketing.
Ensure Environment and Social Performance activities, impact measurements and Client protection certification.
Be a senior Executive (Excom) Committee member and ensure positive relationship with all different levels of relationship, participate in making decision and in strategic orientations.
Lead and Inspire the business development team to achieve higher standard of excellence and speed-to-market deliveries of the products/services.
Continuously build his team, ensuring succession planning, working towards talent retention and attraction.
Interact with the Advans group (head-quarters and other Advans subsidiaries) to ensure experience sharing and mission alignment.
Master’s degree in business management, entrepreneur management or related fields.
At least seven years of experience in operation, sale management, or product development in MFIs or bank.
At least five years of experience as top management, or chief operation/business officer.
Experience in working with senior management to align sales, product development strategies and solutions.
A high level of proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.
Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
Proven track records in capacity building and multi-cultural working environment.
