People in Vanuatu are set to benefit from a new national digital payment platform, part of an ongoing transformation of the nation's financial infrastructure to build a modern, resilient financial system.

The new center will focus on ransomware, digital identity and authentication, platform security, and fraud prevention.

The digital wallet allows the Bank's customers to make payments directly from their mobile phone when making a purchase without the need to present a credit card.
