African Guarantee Fund (AGF) has signed a Sh725 million ($5.37 million) risk-sharing partnership agreement with the Kenya Women Microfinance Bank  (KWFT).

Kenya and Tanzania on Friday launched a project in partnership with the African Confederation of Cooperative Savings and Credit Associations to boost financial inclusion in the two countries.

The loan aims to help the bank increase lending for climate-friendly projects and to smaller businesses, especially those owned by women.
