Coping With COVID-19 in Bangladesh

A community perspective based on conversations with 80 low-and middle-income households

This report discusses what the low-and middle-income (LMI) segments know, understand, and feel about the COVID-19 outbreak and examines its effect on them. The report also highlights actionable recommendations for policymakers to design suitable interventions that can help the LMI segment cope better in this difficult situation.

This publication is based on conversations with 80 LMI households across Bangladesh in early April.  It highlights the response of the community and their perspective on the COVID-19 situation. It shares the findings to provide recommendations and opportunity areas for policymakers to strengthen their efforts further.
