Chemin Levi Miyo: Final Evaluation
Chemen Lavi Miyo (CLM)or Pathway to a Better Life in Haitian Creoleis a program implemented by Fonkoze for the ultra-poor, in partnership with Concern Worldwide, Plan International, and Zanmi Lasante. CLM was piloted over a period of 18 months (June 2007-December 2008) in the communes of Boukan Kare (Central Plateau), Twoudinò (the Northeast) and Lagonav (an island off the west coast). The CLM pilot was part of the CGAP-Ford Foundation Graduation Program, a global effort to understand how safety nets, livelihoods and microfinance can be sequenced to create pathways for the poorest out of extreme poverty, adapting a methodology developed by BRAC in Bangladesh. This report concludes an evaluation process that has tracked the CLM pilot process over a 24 month period starting in June 2007.
