Through the use of AWS cloud services, Krom Bank aims to reach these populations by offering secure and user-friendly digital banking services that empower individuals with better financial management tools.

The Inclusive Financial Ecosystem program has been implemented in 44 rural areas by involving the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) and financial service institutions.

This week IFAD launched  the Platform for Remittances, Investment and Migrants’ Entrepreneurship (PRIME) Central Asia Initiative in Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The award, which was given by the Financial Services Authority, recognizes  BNI's initiatives to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) owned by people with disabilities through financing.

The financing will allow Shinhan Finance to continue providing much-needed longer-term loans and enhance the resilience of smaller enterprises, which are critical for economic growth and job creation.

Under the strategic partnership, Lexasure’s digital insurance offering for farmers, Flourish, will be integrated with the AgriON app, providing easy access to purchase and manage agricultural insurance to provide farmers with greater resiliency against adverse events. 

The enactment of the new regulation could majorly update the the Indonesian Financial Services Authority's stated goal of maintaining a stable and transparent financial sector while protecting consumers and society.

The loan is intended to boost its services to micro-, small, and medium-sized enterprises – especially in rural areas – to “improve financial inclusion and contribute to Kazakhstan’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.”

This loan is ADB's first intervention in Kazakhstan's financial sector in several years. It will support KMF's efforts to improve financial inclusion and contribute to Kazakhstan's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

IFC invested $5 million in equity to finance AwanTunai with the goal to bolster growth opportunities for micro-retailers -- many of them women – who are part of an industry made up of some 30,000 wholesalers and three million merchants.
