FinDev Guide to Data - Tracking the Global Response to COVID-19
Many organizations are mobilizing resources to track various responses to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The majority of the new data sources and trackers these organizations produce focus on publicly available information about fiscal, monetary, and regulatory responses to COVID-19. The relevance of this information to microfinance and financial inclusion varies. To help our community navigate this complex web of data, FinDev Gateway is listing the most important sources and trackers by the level of their relevance to the sector.
Launched in June and running through December 2020, the CGAP Global Pulse Survey of Microfinance Institutions is the first survey that aims to capture the full picture of COVID-19’s impact on microfinance at the global, regional, and national levels.
RemitSCOPE is an online tool providing regional, subregional and country-level data and market analysis through four key areas: key figures on population, remittances and migration, markets, regulatory environment and inclusive financial services.
