This FinEquity Africa workshop, to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, aims to advance women's economic empowerment through women's financial inclusion by fostering partnerships, knowledge sharing, and building networks. The event seeks to gather industry experts, regulators, financial service providers, and ecosystem stakeholders to discuss the rapid evolution of digital lending practices and their impact on various segments of women, with a particular focus on MSMEs and women smallholder farmers.

On March 14, FinEquity Africa had its first Annual Convening in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event was co-hosted with FinEquity Africa’s three knowledge partners, Graça Machel Trust (FMT), the Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) Network, and Digital Frontiers Institute (DFI).
